The SDN is a global cluster of storage nodes that intelligently stores, delivers and processes storage requests in the best network location, providing the best user experience in the market place. With the ability to store files in multiple geographic nodes, the SDN  cloud infrastructure enables unparalleled data availability for developers, businesses and enterprises. The Planet’s on-site node enables the delivery of local NAS-style performance, and the other nodes in the SDN provide global distribution of data. Storage Cloud’s geographic reach can be further expanded by integrating with The Planet’s Content Delivery Network (CDN) which dynamically caches your data on fourteen nodes around the world.
